We are father and son lawyers and mediators. After all the normal trials and tribulations of a father-son relationship, we have discovered that service to others is the most significant value we share as professionals. Our shared commitment to serving others will always define our work at Matthews Mediation Chambers.
Whenever possible, we work together as co-mediators, charging a single rate. Although we will arrange to host live mediations if desired by parties who entrust us to help resolve their disputes, we prefer to offer an extremely modern, flexible, and tailored virtual space for parties to resolve their disputes. This allows us to set fees for our services without paying for expensive office space as overhead. It also allows us to make available enhancements based on developing technologies.
While our services are typically billed on an hourly basis, we also provide flat-rate structures for full-day or multi-session mediations.

At Matthews Mediation Chambers we are committed to ethically incorporating the best available technologies into the process of dispute resolution through our co-mediation services. We also take very seriously our obligation to assure and preserve the confidentiality that is essential to effective and professional mediation of disputes among human beings. Based on these commitments, we have undertaken extensive research and analysis of the various AI tools available and in development (including some tools that are labeled AI for marketing purposes only) and we are confident that we have identified and incorporated safe and effective tools to ethically enhance the quality of our co-mediation services while guaranteeing the privacy and confidentiality of all information provided to us.
